Founder/Program Manager

George Hudson

We are a small, dynamic nonprofit organization with a wealth of subject matter expertise on staff at our disposal. Community service is our focus. We interact regularly with other groups and organizations to synchronize our resources and increase our visibility while continually providing a professional level of community service, volunteerism and training to all.  From law enforcement to seniors in assisted living facilities, we are always available to volunteer ourselves to support, teach and train. We have worked with our military partners, local VFW Posts, Fraternal organizations, faith-based, law enforcement and senior groups in joint ventures with the focus of dispensing resources, education, relief, mentorship and fellowship.

History

Six Degrees-No Separation was initially warranted in May 2012 as a concept of establishing ways to bridge the gap of community organizations, while working together as a united front.  In the county alone, there are hundreds of churches, fraternal groups, youth groups and others vying for resources, volunteers, meeting places, and programs to assist their target populations. Often times, more than one event or request for support is happening that is costing valuable man hours, visibility, and support. There has to be a better way for all entities to work together. Invitations went out in 2013 for members and representatives of these organizations to meet and discuss strategies to better work together and synchronize our abilities, efforts and resources. Having a positive outcome, we went forward in establishing a nonprofit organization with two end stage objectives.

"Nothing liberates our greatness like the desire to help, the desire to serve"

Mission Statement

To strengthen the bonds of community, fraternal, faith based, youth, masonic and senior outreach programs. To strive to work as one endeavor in providing a unified front to better our families, communities, youth and our elderly. To assist in planning, organizing, and producing fund raising events. To ensure a well documented, responsible accountability and audit of all records, monies and fund raising events. To work together by partnering with businesses, law enforcement and military to exemplify the true meaning of team work.

“It is amazing what you can accomplish when no one cares who gets the credit”
